Hotel is all class. Beautiful room, friendly staff and great service. Location is 3 mins from all the action and Theatres at Time Square. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
The room, which is in the upper price range, had one small window with no view so no natural light.

Great pool area to share with our 12 year old son. We had a terrace to eat breakfast on. Modern furnishings in an old building, with a great toilet as well. Catalina was superb at the front desk. The hotel car was a plus, although it wasn't available as often as we needed it. Location was perfect.
Drinks at the bar were expensive and quite meager in size, although they were original and tasted good. Not the best front door attendants. Night staff was not as attentive as the day staff was.

Very nice boutique hotel. Friendly attentive staff. Excellent location in theatre district, within short walking distance to times square.
If you want a view, stay at one of the bigger hotels. We couldn;t have the drapes open or we would be looking in someone's bathroom across the back. Room service breakfast needs to have fresher fruit.

The staff at The Chatwal Hotel were absolutely wonderful. They remembered both my husband and I and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We ate a couple of times at The Lamb Club and the food and service were outstanding. The quality of the food and the value were complementary also. Having spent 3 weeks in America, we found that the servicing sizes were much more appropriate for the quality of the food, service and resturant. Although we had eaten at a lot of other top quality resturants, we found that the servicing sizes were always too big and they counteracted the quality. We intend to stay at The Chatwal Hotel next time we visit nyc and will also recommend the hotel to our friends.

I loved the location of the hotel - it was right in the heart of everything I wanted to see in the city. Being within walking distance of the theater district was a huge plus, as I was able to catch a show without any hassle. The room itself was comfortable and had everything I needed, and the bathroom, despite being a bit dated, had a cool built-in TV. The staff was friendly and even offered free ironing service. The breakfast was crowded but tasty. a great experience.
There was one downside - the spa facilities were a bit underwhelming. The relax room was lacking, and the pool felt more like a large bath.

This hotel is simply beautiful! The designers went out of their way to design a superb art-deco inspired while modern hotel. Don't let the extremely small entrance door fool you, once you are in, the lobby and the bar are gorgeous. So many small details... Our room was spectacular in design and comfort. Tv in the bathroom. Japanese style toilet (which washes your private parts after....), superb furniture and comfortable bed. We loved it although it was quite expensive
Expensive. No coffee in the room (not sure why when it is standard in so many hotels). Forgot my news paper twice. Breakfast at restaurant was awful: no breakfast buffet so I ordered what was probably the worst omelet I ever had (eggs out of a carton rolled as crepe with tasteless dressing stuffed inside) and probably one of the most expensive. They should really do something about breakfast.

The Perfect Theater District Escape
I had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful hotel tucked away in the heart of the bustling theater district. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I had discovered a hidden gem. The contemporary design and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home.

Everything was simply lovely. Had absolutely amazing stay in this exceptional hotel, the staff were very friendly, location was excellent to almost everything that drew you to New York in the first place. I truly enjoyed the room with a large outside patio, the bed was extremely comfy. The service was all in all excellent. Glad that the weather was wonderful, so I could enjoy its nice pool.
